Secure the Economy

President Trump’s threat of 25% tariffs on Canadian goods is an existential threat to the Ontario economy, and particularly the auto assembly, auto parts and other trade-exposed manufacturing workplaces.

Ontario must prepare for a rigorous defense of our economy, including retaliatory and response measures where needed. Workers must be meaningfully included in decisions affecting our industries and livelihoods.
